You can't expect to have the same connection with your high school friends that you had back then. Sometimes that happens, but usually not. Mostly, I think that the arc of a life and how people move through the phases and events is interesting. So just expect it to be interesting -- and if it turns out to be moving or hilarious or inspirational, that's just a bonus. :) I think the key is managing expectations.
