I couldn’t agree more…the movie was an absolute pleasure! I went on the first night of its release en lieu of the bar on Thanksgiving Eve. It was a wise choice and well worth the wait!

If you get the chance, listen to Jason Schwartzman discuss the film on NPR’s “Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” It’s funny.

As a fan of Wes Anderson’s other films I had high hopes as well and it definitely hit the spot for me. I loved the truly inventive way of animating the film in conjunction with the awesome Anderson flavor of writing. I find it funny to think how many minutes into the film it would have been before it got an R rating if in instead of saying cuss they actually cussed. It worked perfectly to make this a kid friendly film though; excellent.

I read a really good review for this film from one of my favorite actors and am glad to read another good review. I should check out this film asap.
